We AREN’T the biggest but we are the best

We’re Clayton and Shahinoor — married and the hands-on team behind Rougarou Shuckers, a small-batch crawfish catering crew that feels like family, not a corporation.

Shahinoor was born in Egypt and raised in Lafayette — Louisiana is in her bones; she brings bayou know-how, festival experience, and sharp marketing instincts. Clayton is from New England and has lived in New Orleans since 2012; he’s worked in restaurants and tech — and yes, he used to run lobster bakes before swapping the bibs for mudbugs (turns out crawfish fit better on paper plates).

In under a year we’ve been showing up to backyards, pop-ups, and neighborhood gatherings with honest boils, friendly service, and zero corporate BS. We’re not trying to be the biggest — we want to be the best. We do this for the love of the boil and to bring people happiness.
